Spiti in Himachal Pradesh is situated in the rain shadow of the Indian Himalaya. Spiti is all about Pristine Lakes, Monasteries, World’s Highest Villages and Beautiful Deserts. And this part of the world is one of the most surreal places that you’ll ever visit in your lifetime.
The roads in Spiti Valley are closed for 7-8 months in a year, due to snow at the high passes.Hence June to September is the period where the glacial mountains are apt to visit.
We are gonna be backpacking to this snow crowned mountains and explore the green land looming to pre-historic monasteries resembling painting on a canvas.
DAY 01: - Airport pickup at Chandigarh & Reach shimla.
DAY 02: - Shimla to Kalpa.
DAY 03: - Kalpa to Tabo via Nako (lake, Monastery), Giu Village ( Mummy)
DAY 04: - Tabo to Kaza via Dhankar(Monastery, Lake)
DAY 05: - Local visits : langzar Village (Buddha), Komik(Highest Village), Hikkim (Post Office), Kibber Sanctuary, Ki Monastery, Kaza market.
DAY 06: - Kaza to Chandratal via Kunzum.
DAY 07: - Chandratal to Manali (Solang Valley) & board the bus to Delhi.
Alternative plan if Kunzum or Rohtang pass is closed
DAY 06: - Kaza to Kunzum and return via kaza to Tabo for halt.
DAY 07: - Tabo to Narkanda for Halt.
DAY 08: - Narkanda to Shimla & return to Delhi.
₹21,000 from Shimla to Manali and ₹23,000 from Delhi to Delhi.

Backpack to carry your personal belongings
Trekking shoes with good grip & two pairs of socks (it's optional if you have floaters with good grip)
Dress change for 2 days along(Light colors preferable, avoid jeans) & few plastic covers to keep wet cloths.(It might Rain)
